Carla is very proud that she has been a true Kamloopsian since the age of 2. Carla has worn many hats throughout her career. She has 20 plus years’ experience working in an office environment. After growing up in Kamloops, she moved to Vancouver and worked in the Accounting Department of a major airline. Wanderlust then took her to Calgary. She held several contractual positions, ranging from an advertising company receptionist to an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable/Group Administrator for an oil well servicing company, where she was responsible for 80 employees and their benefits. Since returning to Kamloops, she worked in the service department of a mining, construction and forestry company as a Financial Assistant, then Sales Coordinator, and ultimately as an Executive Assistant. Later, she worked in the accounting department of a company whose primary focus included rebuilding aerobatic plane engines and the distribution of aviation parts. In this next chapter of Carla’s career, she has taken on the position of Office Administrator for RBTJ Financial Management.
